Why do Private Yoga Instruction?
1. You'd like to start coming to class - if you haven't done yoga before or have done other styles. All you have to do is set up an appointment & we'll do an hour session. What happens in that session is:
a. Go over your medical history & any physical issues
b. I'll show you how to set up for class
c. We'll go over 4 poses that are part of the core poses of Svaroopa Yoga
d. You'll learn the breathing practice we do in class
2. If you have an injury - I will teach you poses and/or a breathing practice to help you tap into your healing capacity. There is a handout you'll be able to take with you to help you remember what to do.
3. If you are in pain - if you are considering yoga, then you've likely tried more than a few different methods to alleviate the pain. Learning a few poses and a breathing practice is a way to become your own body-worker, in a sense.
4. If you have a busy schedule and can't make it to a yoga class regularly, then doing an hour session with me will build on your ability to incorporate yoga into your life everyday.
5. You aren't interested in classes, you just want a few poses to do at home. From athletes to those who meditate.
6. If you've never done yoga and want to start practicing an easy, gentle approach that will help you feel better every day, but you can't make it to class OR you aren't yet ready for a class, then try my introductory offer for those new to yoga.
